Compasses are navigational instruments designed to align themselves with the Earth's magnetic field. They generally use a needle to indicate the direction of North, and prove to be invaluable when in the wilderness or out at sea.
This beautiful, brass compass is approximately 3" in diameter. The bubble piece does not always function. There may be minor cosmetic flaws such as small scratches and tarnish.
